About the project

This project aims at figuring out the academic libraries’ response to the Covid-19 epidemic in Jordan, comparing academic libraries' performance against specified benchmarks in external-peer libraries to analyse vulnerability and find chances and gaps to improve.

Research importance and justifications

Around the world, libraries are taking precautions to keep their staff and patrons healthy and safe during the era of the coronavirus pandemic. For example, in the United States of America, a series of procedures were applied in libraries during closure regarding personal safety, policies
